I just found that my Rescue Raiders floppy went south... Granted it's
22 years old, but most of them are in tact. (Need to copy them to new
floppies and soon.)

Anyway, so I can play right now, is there a PC or Mac Apple II emulator
that supports modern USB game sticks? I've got a PS2-looking USB-based
controller from Logitech that has an analog stick that would work
great.

Right now I've got AppleWin and OS X II (PC and Mac, respectively) and
I don't think either supports this.

Thanks.

Under Windows 2000, a USB joypad appears as a normal joystick. AppleWin
works fine with my Logitech Wingman Precision USB gamepad.

Hmm, I have a Logitech Rumble Pad 2 under 98 SE (full USB support in 98
SE) and it works great in a host of other emulators and, of course,
native Win games. Does not work in AppleWin under "PC Joystick" or
whatever that listed option is.

Other emulators list some specific Logitech stick in their selection,
though.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

Ah, yes. Virtual ][ works great with this USB controller! I'm pretty
pleased with it, even if such emulation is, to me, more pleasant on a
CRT than a flatscreen LCD (my G5 has two 20" Cinema displays).

Virtual ][ is crashing occasionally for me, though under 10.4.4.

Using it as my main II emulator now. Had some fun w/ Conan over the
past few days.
