Seven Hills (seven...@aol.com) carries two IIGS action/adventure games. I
heard they aren't that bad :-))))))))

1. The Gate (tm) - an action adventure with smooth scrolling
(up/down/left/right), top view, 15 channel background stereo musix, lots of
brain teasers, requires IQ of a plant or more (more to solve riddles), IIGS
native, control panel, simply fun. Two 3.5" disks, not protected. Joystick or
keyboard. Fast disk loader.
A+/InCider editor's choice. Took us four years to complete...(did someone shout
"beginners"? :-D )
2. Spacefox (tm) - shoot'em'up game, 60 (!) frames/second, 15 channel stereo
background musix, 10 levels smooth but not too fast animations ("playable"),
lots of sprites and songs, GS/OS compatible, hard disk installable, not
protected, requires joystick

Just plain facts. Thanks,

Not all the old titles are being carried anymore.
I know for sure that Seven Hills Software carries SpaceFox and
the Gate. Avaliable from most Apple Users Group's Seven Hills Partner
and Vitesse ?
Vitesse is carrying Ultima I (soon.. Wolf-3D) for the Apple IIGS.
GS+ Magazine is carrying Proycon's Pick 'n Pile.
Anyone got any word is Big Red Computer Club still carrying any
titles ?

They are 1) The Gate and 2) SpaceFox, and they are not bad. Really,
they're pretty good games. Am I correct, Henrik? ;)

Oops, tried to e-mail you but you didn't include any valid addresses..
Which one is level 5? is it when you have completed the first castle and arrive
at the "land" (the huge green...:-) )? Oh, it such a loing time ago that I
played it. please e-mail..
Regarding hard disk installation...unfortunately, Gate suffers from a terrible
design problem :-D. You would have to restart your computer anyway, and the
disk loader is pretty fast IMHO. And, you have to swap disks only once.

Speaking of which...does anyone have a walk-through for The Gate? I have
had this game for about 2 years and am unable to get past level 5
(outside the castle). I go back to it every so often but I haven't made
any headway in a long time. Love the game, BTW.
Also - can we ever expect to see a patch which will allow it to run from
a hard disk?
