A while back I paid right at $100 USD for an Apple IIc (ROM 3) that was in near mint condition. Only had the computer and PSU. When I opened it up, I found the Z80 expansion card and 512K of RAM.
The seller didn't know it was in there (or didn't care to list it). So, I think I got a pretty good deal on that one.
Yesterday, I pay another $100 for a local CL ad for a IIc, monitor (the 9" monitor typically used for IIc), a dot-matrix Apple printer (can't remember model), a stack of paper 14" tall and two boxes of educational games. This one is VERY dirty but appears to work. Another win in my book.
So, for $200 total, I have two IIc's and a bunch of cool stuff.
My question is...is $100 USD a good price to pay for IIc's that are in working order with nothing broken? Or, is that too much?
What do you think a stock IIc with PSU that WORKS is worth? Just the computer itself.
Thanks
