Riff Metallica borrowed/stole from Black Sabbath

riff in For Whom The Bell Tolls (Ride the Lightning track 3, 1:17-1:48
into the song) is the same riff as the lead riff at the very end of Jack
the Stripper/Fairies Wear Boots (Paranoid track 8, 5:42-end of song)
with a different start note. I don't know if Metallica stole this riff,
if this has been pointed out before, whether it's just coincidence, or
what. I just noticed this today and thought I'd point this out. I've
included the guitar TAB of the two parts (done by me) to help better
illustrate.

You should be able to see that it's the same riff but you just start at a
different note in the repetition. the riff has been moved to the first two
strings but if you move it to the 3rd and 4th strings it's the exactly
same riff as in Metallica (but three frets higher). I hope you
understood, it's kinda hard to explain (listen to the CD).
