Hi All,

A shot in the dark here.....

The guys over at CPCWiki.org are tryingto collect a full set of WACCI
mags scanned and uploaded, But due to the nature of the web we would
like permission from the current rights holder before doing this.

I was therefore wondering if anyone had noticed Brian Watson around
these parts lately?

Ah, great idea asking here, didn't occur to me! Indeed maybe some old timers could help...

And of course, if anyone could lend any issues to be scanned, that'd be awesome too :)

I'd say the first 85... and 113-145; not that good :(

I've not seen him post here for a long time; nor in the cam.* groups where he was very active in the past.

The address in his old signature is only a couple of miles from where I live so if you hear nothing, I could try making local enquiries.

Oi, Craig! I'm over here!

By REMARKABLE coincidence, I just looked in here for the first time in ... oh, about 10 years, I think.

I am still alive, just retired from full-time work, and so am reasonably free to get interested in CPCs and PCWs again.

As far as I'm concerned as the last one holding the keys when WACCI folded, I have no objection to copies being scanned and uploaded. Indeed, it would save ME a job! :-)

That said, if the guys are short of any issues, I think I still have a full printed set.

I am already thinking of scanning and uploading copies of my long-dead 8BIT magazine when I do get some free time. If the CPCWiki.org guys would like to host that, I'd be grateful and would put some money into the pot to help that side of things. Please put them in touch if you know them.

I have kept up the WACC...@hotmail.com email address so anyone who wants to contact me can find me there, via the email address I used to post this, or at the new Facebook page I see has been set up. I just sent an Application To Join that so it may be a while before I am visible there.

As I don't have a free Newsgroup account any more and am too tight to start one now, please regard this as my last posting here for AT LEAST another 10 years.

:-)

Love and Fishes to everyone.
