What's the way to convert *.DSK files to *.bas *.bin....

I have 22disk124.zip and euro.def.

I've formated a 3.5" in CPC cpm format. So i want now to copy dsk files into
the floppy.

I'm about to built the 3.5" external adapter it seems to be easy...

Ps: i'm a newbie, i was just given a 6128 yesterday !

You need CPCFS, available from ftp.nvg.unit.no/pub/cpc but it can't handle
extended DSKs, just the normal ones.

What I usually do is copy the files from a extended DSK image to a normal
one in my emulator using CP/M's pip program. A normal blank one can be made
using CPCFS.

If you're using a PC, use Ulrich Doewich's excellent CPDWRITE.

If you're using a CPC, use Robin Tanner's excellent DSK-CPC. (Make sure
you feed it freshly formatted PC discs.)

Both are downloadable from ftp.lip6.fr.

What we really need is a program that runs in the emulator. It would
allow you to put a 178k disk in the a: drive and copy files out of a dsk
file. Rather like a emulator version of the old utility, Oddjob.

Try to find 22disk v1.44, works much better if you use a multitasker
like win95.

Just choose the right definition and drive in cmenu and use the copy
function.

Ask also your question in fr.comp.emulateurs

Use CPCTRANS which comes with CPCEMU v1.4 :

CPCTRANS yourdisk.dsk a:

Or use CPDWRITE v1.03 from Ulrich Doewich.
