Hello guys,

Gryzor here.

You can read the entire story here:
http://cpc-forum.de/viewtopic.php?t=710&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
(though most of it is in German).

To cut a long story short:

-Kangaroo decided, without any discussion, to withdraw support from
the wiki (among other projects)
-In doing so, he also launched a personal attack against me, for
reasons really unknown
-So I moved the wiki to another server, currently donated by
Devilmarkus
-I also asked him to give me ownership of the cpcwiki.com domain,
which he refused to do, and made it auto-redirect to his personal
blog.

You can read my response here: http://cpc-forum.de/viewtopic.php?t=710&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=45
(in english, you gotta scroll down a bit)

End of story, for now. You can visit cpc-wiki.com, and everything is
functional again.

Thanks for your interest :)

Cheers
Gryzor

Perhaps being German he didn't like your Polish-sounding handle. (Czy pan
jest polski?)

Ich spreche Deutsch nur ein wenig (and Polish even less so no z's, y's and
w's in response please :) so I can't follow the thread as named but from
the amount of bold and red text it looks fairly heated. Let's hope the wiki
will now be safe.

I have nothing against Germans as such - I'm currently booked to go to
Germany on holiday next summer (Oberammergau, for the Passion Play), and
such behaviour as reported has really no place on the web whatever the
nationality of the perpretrator.

Well there's my two eurocents' worth anyway.

Well, maybe I should pull the 'y' out of it and make it something like
"Graeezor"? Or maybe revert to the US title, Contra? :D

What I think (and what I wrote in the german forum) is that it's his
absolute right to just walk away and withdraw support and hosting
whenever he feels like it. But,
-doing so without telling those affected
-mounting personal attacks (I still haven't figured that out, he had
never mentioned anything before) and
-taking revenge against the wiki because I dared moving servers*, by
withholding the domain name and forwarding it to his blog,

is just plain unacceptable and mean.

Cheers

*forgot to say that he later recanted and offered to host all projects
on one server with no shell access. I'd be fine with that, except for
this personal attack he mounted against me - how could I stay on his
server? And that's when he became angry at me for moving the wiki. If
you can figure it out, let me know.
