lame... ;)
of course i want the statusbar...but somewhere else and not the places
mui or ibrowse force me to put it to.
of course i want the status-bar, i want to see my current network-status
(the links-name) and this small lights showing the transfers currently
in process...
i just do not want the busy.mcc, because it is absolutely unneeded and slows
down scrolling like hell ! I just have the choice to switch the WHOLE
status-bar on or off...but that is not what i want !
i mailed kmel (programmer of busy.mcc)..to at least implement a feature
to switch the busy.mcc (that startrek-thing) OFF..i hope he does it, but
also this does NOT solve that then the busy.mcc is still on the screen then,
then hanging around useless...this is imho veryvery unfelxible. I want
ways to arrange what i need and what not....including positions
of gadgets FREELY putable anywhere i want it.
dopus5 was the first program ever who did something, as most flexible
concerning the gui/windows as it should be on ANY application.

Why in the world would you want to put the status bar or any of the other
things anywhere except the edges of the window?
I do agree that there should be an off button for busy.mcc. One thing I did
was to set the tiny font in the IB MUI prefs to xhelvetica/9. That is the
font the status bar uses. The info is still readable but it reduces the
busy.mcc to a very tiny size. It is much less annoying that way.
