New anon ftp site amiga.physik.unizh.ch
Urban D. Mueller
located in Zurich, Switzerland. It has many AmigaDOS files and it is the
official Amiga UNIX anon ftp site (although not much is there yet). As a
special feature it creates file lists like the one below from all uploads
that have a special .readme.
Question: Would you like to see weekly posts of below file to either
comp.sys.amiga.announce (moderation delay) or comp.sys.amiga.misc?

How about NEITHER! That would waste an incredible amount of net bandwidth,
and if people really want to they will go to your site and look for
themselves, or they will check a local Archie server.

I'm forced to ask - do you think everyone has InterNet access? Which is
required to use ftp or to "check a local Archie server".
I wish I could go check a local server. It sure would make a lot of things
easier.

Read the comp.sys.amiga.misc FAQ sheet. It describes how you can talk
to archie via email. Of course everyone does not have InterNet access.
My site doesn't. But I wouldn't want to pay for directory listings
to be sent to my site once a week. Start a mailing list if it's really
needed/wanted.
