I just got 'hold of English version of the manual for my new A1260
Blizzard accelerator. It says that, as far as the jumper on the board
dealing with whether or not to copy the 512KB Kickstart ROM to Fast
32-bit RAM, if the jumper IS REMOVED then ROM is copied to 32-bit FAST
RAM, and if PRESENT the ROM is "carried out" from the A1200 itself (not
copied).

This is opposite what I've had someone tell me here.

So just to be clear -- REMOVE the jumper (came w/ jumper installed)
and the ROM is copied for faster execution, right?

That's what my manual says as well. Just to be sure, I checked the German
version, which says the same thing (so the English one isn't a bad
translation, or anything). Anyway, if you want to be completely sure, just
see how much free memory you have have with and without the jumper. It's not
like you're going to destroy your setup, or anything.

Cheers,
