I would be grateful if somebody could tell me what the power
requirements are for the Phase5 Cyberstorm PPC 604e@233Mhz with
060@50Mhz and ultra SCSI is.

On the Phase5 website it indicates that the Cyberstorm PPC is for
A3000(T) and A4000(T). Does this mean it will not work on a standard
Amiga 4000 desktop?

I noticed in an Aminet review of the Blizzard 603e for the 1200 that
this card requires 4.5 Amps for 5 Volts, meaning that a standard 1200
PSU is not powerful enough because it only outputs 3 Amps for 5 Volts.

Is the standard Amiga 4000 (desktop) PSU up to the job of powering a
Cyberstorm PPC?

Thanks in advance for any information provided.

Generally Ax000(T) usually stands for both versions, desktop AND tower -
just like one/more cdrom track(s)...

But to be more specific... There`s absolutely no limitation regarding the
A4ooo dektop. Every model has it`s own installation chapter and I recently
installed a CSPPC in a friend`s A4ooo"D" :).

If it`s the PSU you`re thinking about - get your board and don`t mind :)

I looked through the manual but it doens't say.

However, since I have a 233 and a 060/50 and a A4000 Desktop with a
couple of things in it besides the Cyberstorm, I would say it will run
8-)).

For more detail see below 8-)...
