Upgrading Amiga 500 from 1.2 to 1.3 Rom HELP!!!

I'm upgrading my A500 Revision 5 motherboard from 1.2 to 1.3. Am I
required to put a jumper from pin 1 to pin 31 on the 1.3 chip for this
to work fully? I heard something about rev3 and rev5 boards needing
this to be done on the 1.3 chip, but I have not been able to confirm
it.

What you read about was for upgrading from 1.2/1.3 to 2.1 rom. You do not
need to do any jumpering to for the upgrade you are doing.

No, just plug it in. It's not much of an upgrade ;-)
The jumper is only required on some 2.x+ ROM upgrades and then only on
certain revisions of the A500.
