Just out of curiosity what are peoples highscores on Slam Tilt
I've just managed:

Mean Machines....... 266,083,960
Pirates............. 438,207,270
Ace of Space........ 478,628,560
Night of the Demon.. 340,140,000

Is there anyone out there who can put me to shame and give me a
target for me to reach :)

Yes - I can. :-) As I'm in work now I can't remember my score
exactly, but to the nearest 100 million it is:

Ace of Space..........2,200,000,000

Yep, 2.2 Billion. But I expect that someone else is going to rain
on my parade pretty soon.

Ben.

Heheh, I play only Night of the Demon and I have there:

6,540,343,830

I think it's pretty good. :-)
Anyway in Ace of Space if you are good enough you can always reach extra
balls with Death Planet game and that makes Ace of Space to easy. IMHO Night
of the demon is really the best of those 4.

Enjoy, Bojan

P.S. Result is REAL, I didn't hack it! Who doesn't believe can watch me play
that one :-)

I Agree!!
Night of the Demon is both the most fun and the most difficult table.

To the nearest 100 million...my highscore is
7,100,000,000. But that was some time ago...most games end up around 1.3
to 1.7 billion.

BTW...only on the amiga, can the ball hit a target and make a sound
WITHOUT stopping for a split second. Pinball on all but the very fastest
pentium on a PC is a joke! I know.

well sadly yes, the one that i can remember of the top of my head is for
the ace of space table where my score goes over 3 billion, yes
3,000,000,000. Hope that is a good target for you. Ps no cheats used.

Chris.

Hi folks after seeing these scores I was wondering about the general best
scores on Pinball Fantasies...
I'm not too good yet but was wondering what I should be aiming around - I
think my best is only 80,000,000 on Party.

Let's see....

Mean machines was around 1.100.000.000
Pirates................. 2.100.000.000 (Believe it or not but my
little sister had 2.200.000.000 what really pissed me off :D)
Ace of Space............ 1.500.000.000
Night of the demon...... 950.000.000

Don't know the exact scores, haven't played it for a long time...

Well this is particularly true of any Windoze game...something to do with
interupts in the OS. A few weeks ago, I played the new RoadRash by EA on a
friend's P100 w/16meg Ram. The texture-mapping was nice, the speed
acceptable but -yes- it had that annoying stop-video-glitch that all PC
action games seem to have. For smooth, fluid scrolling games, Amiga does
it better! :)

And I though my highscore which was about half of this was good...
Are you trying to weaken my selfconfidence or something? :-)

If it's so real, could you please explain to me how you achieve a score
which isn't a multiple of 1000 on that table? Are there two versions of
the scoring system along with the two graphical versions - or is there
some bonus I haven't had yet?

For the record, my genuine, non-cheated (of course) top scores are:

Mean Machines: 4,645,347,550
The Pirate: 2,710,326,580
Ace of Space: 2,407,120,410
Night of the Demon: 1,223,875,000

I know now that someone will have beaten all these scores and will take
great pride in saying so but I put them here anyway. I've already seen
reasonable claims of scores better than my Ace of Space and Night of The
Demon scores anyway.

(I haven't played those two so much - I wore myself out playing the Space
table over and over again on the demo version before I got the game and
I'm not quite as keen on the Demon table as other people - it seems to
provoke side-lane incidents more frequently than others and the video
modes either give me a headache or make me worried for the safety of my
keyboard.)

Yeah, same here ;).. Well actually, my dad's high score. He plays the game a
lot more than I do.

Yes, folks you guessed it my dad and I loove pinball :)

Mean Machines is too easy to get the extra ball & hence allows for looong
games.

I play it for relaxing some 30 minutes or so....

On the note of Slam Tilt high scores, these are not my scores but
a friends scores. I won't talk about mine, I'm hopeless at the
game :) So here goes ...

Mean Machines: 38,028,153,070
29,745,685,430

Pirate: 2,610,479,800
2,158,224,350

Ace of Space: 3,976,043,010
3,501,377,590

Night of the Deamon: 11,762,257,192
2,007,660,000

The only problem with this is that his scores are on my machine
and I've no way of beating them. It's a real pain not even having
one of your intials in the top scores. Hence I've stopped playing
the game myself for sheer fustration :)
