Does anybody know the release dates of the following games:

Hired Guns
Overkill
TFX/Inferno
J.Park
Land of Lore
Dungeon Master II

Only a small list, you must admit.

Thanks

Hired Guns is due in early October, last I heard. Don't know about Overkill
(I've heard of it, but what is it?). Inferno is a spring '94 product.
T.F.X. is due in November, I think, and I seem to recall that Jurassic
Park will be out around the same time. I don't know that Lands of Lore, while
planned, has been contracted out to a developer yet, so probably mid-94.
And there's been nothing on DM II. (Depends whether you means FTL's new
project or the enhanced version of Chaos that Interplay is releasing.)

I recommend it. Its AGA only, its fast, its smooth, it sounds excellent,
its got the best parallax scrolling I have ever seen, and in the UK,
its only 20UKP.

I've got Overkill, and here are my thoughts whether you want them or not.

i) Excellent parralax scrolling !!!!!! Realy top notch.

ii) Good gameplay ( not excellent )

iii) Wierd sound. This is where I disagree with the guy
above. I would have liked some music whilst playing and
the sample of "over here" is tedious in the extreme.
I have also found that all the sound for the intro screen goes
away once I have played the game.

I have a fairly souped up A1200 ( 40MHz 030 +4 Mb Fast
+ 80 Mb HD ) and I had wondered wheteher this was the problem
with the sound.

iv) My version came with a free poster, catalogue and registration
form but NO MANUAL, even though it says MANUAL IN ENGLISH
on the cover. Has any body got a manual with theirs ( I went
back to Virgin where I bought it and we couldn't find a manual
in any of the boxes they had ). So is there anything else
involved apart from the fire button for killing and space bar
for shield ?

CONCLUSION: A reasonable but sadly unfinished game in my eyes. Is
good but could have been much better if more attention
had been paid to detail. Ah well maybe in overkill 2 !

P.S. Martinus - one thing I do not have is a rich daddy !!!! And one thing
I suspect you do not have is a life ....

I don't agree. Overdrive is a crap game. It feels kinda like a PD/SW game.
Haven't you ever played Shadow of the beast? That's parallax scrolling to me!

Try looking on the back of the poster for the instructions.
