In the meanwhile, I have looked for any sort of back-door, or simply unusual
things which can be done in Magic Pockets.
There are three exit doors on world 1, level 2 (1-2). If you head downwards,
destroy the four stones that you land on, and stand above this lower opening
to the left where a snail is moving about (after killing it), face towards the
opening, just at the edge. Hold down the button, creating a whirlwind. While
the button is pressed, push to the right. The whirlwind should go bouncing
back and forth on both sides of the narrow area you fell down. When it finally
bounces below you, it can (if you stand in the right spot) get wedged in the
floor and will not dissipate. Depending on the size of the whirlwind, it will
also go into some of the smaller openings directly below you. Next go to the
left and fall. You will be in an area you could get to normally, but now
there will be NO ENEMIES. Unfortunately, nothing else will be there either;
candy, etc. I have gone all the way to the door and while I can reach it, the
level will not acknowledge that I am in a doorway.
Has anyone else done this? Has anyone found anything else? It takes up too
much time getting to world two to be worth playing this game any longer unless
there is a way to bypass lower levels, or world one completely.

You've been into the secret rooms, right ? You get into a secret room by
gathering ONE silver star then ONE gold star then wearing the teleport helmet
that appears. If you create the second helmet then BEFORE you go into the
room, create another silver star and gather it, you can run into the gold star
in the second secret room to warp out. This typically gives you a score in
the region of 250,000 points !!! Alternatively, you can kill the bird in the
second secret room for a silver star but it's not so easy.
I've also seen something similar to the weird happening described in an earlier
post about ending up in an area where there are no creatures etc. If on the
second level of the jungle world, you water the big vine then jump on top
of it as it grows, then tumble off near the top, you'll fall right down and
THROUGH the floor of the jungle and you end up in level one of the jungle
world in a completely deserted state !!!
Oh, you may find the third secret room on level one world one interesting
too...
Jamie.
and just how is this accomplished?

In the same way as you got the previous silver and gold stars. Just follow the
bonuses and be careful what you shoot and when. Takes a little practice...
This won't work with the demo of MP though ;-)
Jamie.
What do I do next to warp. I can not seem to get another gold and silver star
before I reach the exit. Or if I do, Nothing happens. Tell me in simple terms
HOW DO I GET OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! I AM TIRED OF PLAYING IT OVER & OVER & OVER
again...
Thanks... Pat.
Hey, Tim... don't blame your incompetence on me. Many people have mailed me
to say they've done it and have asked for further warp details etc. Just
because you're lame doesn't mean the rest of the world is too.
Read my instructions again, read your manual again (you have got a manual
haven't you ?) and then practice.
And since when did I disappear ? Ever tried E-mail ?
You're what us Brits call a "wanker".
Jamie.
Don't make personal attacks when you don't know what you're talking about.
This guy Jamie _does_ know what he's talking about. If you bought the game,
and didn't just copy it from a friend, then you should know that you can watch
the hands on the bottom to tell where you are on the star-little milk- ...
list of special stuff.
I have used Jamie's warp for level one with success. Its tricky at first,
so maybe you can't do it. I've also used the warp on levels two and three.
They all work.
Next time, get your facts straight buddy. This guy is just trying to help
you out, and you blast him for your own inadequacy. I, for one, would like
to keep seeing people like Jamie offering up useful information, not getting
stomped on by an ingrateful incompetent.
