WHY?
THE PARTY 1991 was, according to you, the diskmags, newspapers, and
computer magazines, the biggest & best Amiga party ever. And as everybody
wanted a second party we (The Organizers) would like to invite YOU to:
THE PARTY 1992
(Part II, The Final!)
WHERE AND WHEN?
THE PARTY 1992 will be held in the same huge conference centre as last
year, but this time we will not only use Hall 1 but also Hall 2 and 3.
That means 6500 Square metres, almost 3 times as large an area, as last
year. The party place is located in Aars, 35 KM south of Aalborg, Denmark.
It'll be held from Sunday 27 December at 0800 CET to Tuesday 29 December at
1500 CET.
FACILITIES:
- Room for at least 1500 people including tables and chairs for
everybody.
- At least one FREE bus will drive nonstop from Aalborg Railroad
Station to the party place, both the first and the last party day! So if
you are going by train, then travel to Aalborg. A new highway has been
made since last year so it won't take long to drive.
- Enough electricity for everyone, with a professional electrician 24
hours a day to avoid any power problems.
- All info about what's going on will be published on a large bulletin
board, infoscreens, the big screen, and the infochannel.
- 6x4 meter high quality screen for competitions, movies etc.
- Extremely powerfull HI-FI equipment to guarantee perfect soundquality.
Last year people complained that the speakers were playing to low. Yes,
the soundquality was good, but too low. This was because the sound
equipment which we ordered never arrived, so we had to use some home
equipment. We now have a written contract with a Discoteque, so this
time, you better put cheese in your ears.
- A real CAFETERIA will be open 24 hours a day!!!!!!! Yez, we just made
this great deal! In the big hall there will be a SNACK BAR, where you
can buy sodas and chips. And YES, last time people complained that the
food etc. was too expensive so we have done something serious about
this. The cafeteria got a new management, and that means: LOWER prices!
- This time we have 3 TV channels and 1 radio channel. They will be
broadcasted so anyone who bring a TV-set/radio and an antenna will be
able to watch: 2 moviechannels, 1 infochannel, and listen to 1 radio
channel. Last time there was recieving problems, but this time a new
transmitter has been built to ensure perfect broadcast quality.
- The toilet facilities are good and if you want a shower then that's
ofcoz possible too.
- A Lazerdisc room with a big screen 300x250 cm. and Dolby pro logic
surround sound showing new lazerdisc movies 24 hours a day!!! This
screen is the same screen which people liked last year and which
was used for the demo competition.
- Cleaning personel to ensure that you will be able to walk around in the
halls.
- Modemtrading has been cancelled. But don't worry, there will be a lot of
new stuff released at the party, so.
- Stand with a local computer store, selling disks etc.
- Lugage room, for those wanting to have taken care of their equipment
and lugage with small fee. This is smart to use for people who are not
bringing a computer with them.

RULES:
Overall Demo/Music/GFX rules:
- All contributions must be delivered at the reception near the entrance
to one of the organizers.
- The people taking part in the competitions must be present at the
party.
Demo Competition:
- Each group can contribute with as many demos as they want to, but
only one demo from each coder.
- Max. Demo length: 30 min.
- The demos must be able to run on a standard (1.2/1.3) A500 with 1 MB
memory. If they don't, bad luck...
Music Competition:
- Each musician is allowed to contribute with 1 tune.
- We will play a maximum of 6 minutes per module. We will make a jury of
about 10 people whom we will select at the party. They will choose 20-25
tunes which we will then play to the audience who will then vote.
- Your tune must be delivered as an executable file to avoid any
problems with players etc.
Gfx Competition:
- Each artist is allowed to contribute with 1 picture.
- The picture must be loadable from Dpaint4.
Intro Competition:
- Intro length max: 40KB.
- The intro must be able to run on a standard 1 MB Amiga 500.
PLEASE NOTE:
- We will not accept anybody selling food, disks etc. etc. etc.
- People who can't behave will be thrown outside until they can, real
troublemakers will of course be handed over to the police.
- People who cause any damages will of course have to pay for it.
- Please help us putting your trash in the trashcans and bags. Reason? -
last year 20 people used 2 days to do it.
- If you have made a video or something else amazing, bring it with you
and we'll gladly show it at the big screen. Just hand your
productions to an organizer in the reception near the entrance.
- We take no responsibility for illegal swapping, software, video,
phreaking etc.
ENTRANCE PRICE:
Due to the extra events, prices, etc. the entrance fee will be 120 DKK.
NO forreign currencies will be accepted!

If you want an invitaion with maps etc. then write to the Party Organizer

Now follows information about the PC and C64 competitions. You see,
we have made an agreement with DANISH ELITE on the PC and CAMELOT on the
C64 so they will take care of arranging the PC and C64 competitions
at the party. Together with the real official invitation for the Amiga
owners they will spread an extra sheet of paper with information about
their competitions, prizes etc.
Pleeze note that our new voting system includes that:
- C64+PC owners can't vote for Amiga competitions.
- PC and Amiga owners can not vote for the C64 competitions.
- Amiga and C64 owners can not vote for the PC demo competition.
...so that the right winners will be found!!!!
PC PARTY INVITATION:

PC Democompetition arranged by: DANISH ELITE
Danish Elite hereby invite you to THE PARTY 1992 - (Part II, THE FINAL!).
Last year a party was held in Aars but it was mainly Amiga related.
This year, the party also takes care of you PC guys out there since we,
Danish Elite, has come to an agreement with the main organizers that a PC
is just as much a demo computer as well as a business computer.
The rules and facilities in the main Amiga invitation also counts for PC
owners, but we only have one competition..
PC DEMOCOMPETITION:
PRICES:
1. 1500 Dkr. (approx. $275)
2. 1000 Dkr. (approx. $185)
3. 500 Dkr (approx. $ 95)
No competition will be held if less than 7 demos come up. If there are
3 demos, all 3 demomakers will get a price. If not enough PC freaks show up
we take the liberty of lowering the prices. But for you, I wouldn't worry.
All restrictions mentioned above, are in our opinion, not going to happend.
PC DEMO RULES:
- The demo must be executeable, and not an animation.
- Your demo must be able to run on a standard 386sx machine.
- We don't care what graphics card you use, as long as it supports the
ET-4000 SVGA graphics card which we will use for the competition.
- Maximum demo length is 30 minutes.
- Your demo music can be of any standard, but we are only supporting the
soundblaster pro card so if your music doesn't support this card,
please bring your sound card, used for the demo with you.

C64 PARTY INVITATION:

C64 Competitions arranged by: CAMELOT
Camelot hereby invite you to THE PARTY 1992 - (Part II, THE FINAL!).
The rules and facilities in the main Amiga invitation also counts for C64
freaks except for the competitions.
For all the C64 competitions the results will be determined by public
voting to obtain fair results. We will show all competing demos and
pictures and play all the tunes.
C64 DEMO RULES:
- Demo must run on a standard C64.
- If you can't finish crunching your demo in time you are allowed to show
it from the monitor or assembler.
- We will let all demos compete even if parts of it has been released
before and then it's up to the audience not to vote if they find it
unfair showing pre-released parts.
C64 GRAPHICS RULES:
- All known and unknown formats are allowed even interlaced, hires-fli,
and sprites'n rasterbars or whatever you may use.
- The picture must be delivered as an executeable file.
C64 MUSIC RULES:
- All formats are allowed.
- The tune must be delivered as an executeable file.
If people are interested we will held a game competition. The game is the
"famous" Camelot made by Glasnost and Sphinx of Camelot.
