I thought that if anyone had read about TICKLE TWINS in the magazine they
might like a bit of background information.
Firstly, all the graphics in the game were drawn by my friend John Kerry
unfortunately he didn't get credited in the magazine, but he can quote
that line from the review "great graphics". The game has been in
development for four or five years very on and off. I started writing it
when I didn't really know what I was doing, so the code was messy, slow
and hard to debug. The magazine review seemed quite positive, however the
speed of the baddies was their main problem with the game. I thought the
game played well but then like I said before I had been playing it for
four to five years. I guess you have to get people who have never seen the
game before to try it out.
Thanks for reading this piece of egotism. I am glad that sections like
Reader's games exist as they spur on hobbyist programmers and designers
who often need inspiration for a large problem.
