Cannon Fodder - blowing up factory

The subject says it all really .. I'm stuck in mission 12 , phase 4 , where you
have to blow up a factory .. I've managed to blow up all other buildings
with the mortar on top of the factory , but as to blowing up the factory
itself I am clueless. Anyone get past this mission yet ?

Fire at factory door until it blows up (takes quite many shots) with
that cannon at top

And yes, completed many months ago...and it gets easier after levels
8-12.. (at least IMHO)

just shoot several times at the door (or the little square thing next to
it). just keep shooting!! lots & lots of times.. you'll get there..
eventually :-) After this level, it gets easier! (until the very last
phase) trust me.. i finally finished it 3 weeks ago! well worth it!

I had the same trouble until a friend showed me how to do it.

Basically, you just pound the factory door using the cannon on the factory
roof. It takes about 20-30 hits before it gets destroyed.

I also found a bug in the program at this phase. Normally, you 'summon'
the helicopter to get your man onto the roof and into the cannon. However,
I found a spot on the west wall of the factory where I could just walk onto
the roof.

I too noticed this bug, but I also noticed that if I use it, I can't
destroy the enemy helicopter which gets stuck hovering in the bottom left
corner of the level. Could someone tell me how I'm supposed to summon the
helicopter to get to the roof the right way? Maybe then I'l be able to
kill the bad helicopter and go on to level 13.

PS. How many levels does Cannon Fodder have, anyhow? I can't seem to
find a # in the manual.
