Is it true that hyperion is converting Sin to the amiga?

I read this on haage-partner's 3D-World news page , but there is no
mention of sin on the hyperion site.

Yes. I recently phoned with Ben Hermans (who is a friend of mine) and asked,
if it is true, after i read it on the Amiga News Page, and he confirmed it to me
. I guess they have just recently
started the project, so this is why there is no mention on their WWW Site yet.

Few months ago i saw an info about Lemmings 2 - game editor (now for
free) that allows to use the full game on system screen.
Any one knows where to get it (editor) ?

goody goody....
I played sin on a pc some time ago and I personally think it blows
quake2/quake3 straight out of the water.

hyperion seems to have quite a line-up with now with
these (for me sure-buys)
SIN, Heretic2, Shogo
why they decided to port worms I don't know didn't like the orginal so
will probaly not like this one either.

Worms is real fun with friends... (played it on the PSX)
Dunno about Worms Armaggedon.

Yeah, not much worth as a single player game, the computer's always the
smartest. It's really great with four players though.

The problem is that there are different tastes when it comes to games. I
personally look forward to doing Freespace, as I like this genre most of
all. I also think that Shogo is a great game.

But then, there are things like Adventure games, C&C-like games, Racing
Games (oh yeah!), and a lot of other things I am missing... You have to
get a broad pick to satisfy anyone...

Hm, talking of Freespace, two things come to my mind:

If you are doing a German version, *please* do not use the
translation of the PC version - there are several places where
texts are cut short or flow over the borders, have somebody do it
who knows what he's doing and who cares (and when looking at what
"German" versions the PC market throws at you nobody will wonder
why I prefer the english versions if I can get my hands on them).

Do you have any idea if any of the Freespace programmers later
changed jobs to work with LucasArts? With the benefit of
hindsight X-Wing Alliance look like a (slightly improved)
spitting image of Freespace in terms of controls, game design,
etc.

Regards,
Eike

Agreed, the german translation was really not very good, for numerous
reasons. At least the voice over was quite well done, but the texts
really didn't always fit, and the briefing wasn't voiced, either... I
don't think we'll be doing separate versions, the market is too small
for that, but I don't know for sure yet...

I don't know anything about that, but at least the main programmers
where always with Volition (or better, Parallax). However, there is a
very strong similarity with Tie-Fighter and other LucasArt games :)
