Fixing Archon I & II

That might interest some of you, I'm currently writing a WHDLoad patch
for Archon and Archon II.
I'm heavily armed for that task: WinUAE + A1200/060 + Archon I & II
originals + execution logs + cracked versions + whdload MMU features,
but that's still not a piece of cake.
I started with the "easiest" one, Archon II, and now the original runs
OK on my A1200/060 with WHDLoad. I've only got to get rid of the copy
protection leftovers (still need any disk in DF0: to run).
The problem remains intact for Archon. I was not able to run even the
cracked version on WinUAE, whatever kickstart I tried (I tried several
ones, from 1.0 to 1.3).
I heard some people use WinUAE to make this game work, and I would like
to know how they manage to do that (winUAE config, kickstart version).
I've tried a hacked Archon I/II version which worked ok but that's not
the one i'm interested by. I'm interested only by Archon I alone,
without any crack or compilation.

I was wondering if you can do a One on One from EA patch. This game only
runs on a A1000 with Kick 1.1

Someone already sent me the disk image. I'm interested in it, but first

Great! That is one of the best EA games ever made!!! Too bad it doesn't
work at all on newer amigas.

I remember when I was a beta teeter for EA. Archon was one of the first
games I tested. It still brings back very fond memories. I got the original
running with ccs64. But have never been able to get the Amiga version
working.
Just for your info. There is a new game coming out for the Xbox called
Wrath. It plans to be an update to the original Archon series. Here is the

"Wrath" and "Archon Evolution" look very different from each other.
Whereas "Archon Evolution" is intended to be Archon for the 00s,
"Wrath" goes beyond Archon and just retains the fantasy beast battle
scenario.
