Hi All,

I have almost finished imaging all my Amiga SW. It has only taken 2 years of
an d on 8-)

I am down to my last few disks which was from my AMAX and Transformer
emulators.
I was just wondering if anyone has some idea's on how I can image the actual
MAC and IBM DOS disk's from within AmigaOS?

I tried just making ADF's of them, and as expected it was a big FAIL. 8-)

I had thought that maybe I could make ADF's if I used crossdos for IBM disks
and a MAC equivalent of crossdos (if it exists) for the MAC disks, to enable
new compatible devices?

Thanks for any ideas 8-)

Make those ADFs, and burn to cd.

Thanks Ash,

Thats the plan, but I don't think the ADF imaging SW can image MAC and IBM
format disks.

Have you tried DMS yet? Normally a CLI/shell command, but you can use a
GUI front-end such as:

http://aminet.net/util/pack/BlitzDms.lha and
http://aminet.net/util/pack/BlitzDms.readme

This can use several versions of DMS to make an image of your floppies.
First you need to mount the disk with fat95 or CrossDOS/MAC, get DMS to
do its job, then use DMS2ADF to convert the result. Been too long to
remember, but at a guess, it ought to work...

Mayby I haven't understood your last words, but how have you done the
imaging (which program(s))? I started with DMS but thought it would be
better to convert to ADF nowadays.
