I am using an A2000 060 dos 3.5. It seems that my amiga crashes too much
or programs will crash and my CPU monitor will show 0% CSP free.
Is there any way that somone could devlope programs that will
decrease the ammount of software failures I get.

My internet programs seems to be the worst. Mnews is
very buggy and I often have problems with Ibrowse when
these stupid sites open lots of windows. Ibrowse needs a
alleart that will let me stop the opening of new windows.

Are you using a graphics card? If so, make sure you have the latest version
of Picasso96 or Cybergraphics.
It is also possible that you need to update your 060 libraries. Anything
that can be updated, is usually best
to update it. You might want to try booting without any extra programs
running in the background. Disable
your user-startup as much as possible without crippling any hardware and your
internet software, since you mentioned you have the most problems with
those. Also disable programs in your WB-Startup drawer. IF everything works
better, then you will know your crashes are caused by another program. If
that doesn't help, after updating drivers, then it might be hardware related.

I have those programs. But they don't work with roadrunner or a pasword protected server

If Fusion worked with AdrianII, I would prefer to use netscape for news and all internet applications.

There will be an update to Fusion to version 3.4 (no word exactly when
though, but "soon") that will fix the problems with the Ariadne II and
other ethernet cards and with Open Transport.

In the meantime, you could run MacOS 7.5.5 and ShapeShifter with your
card.

Got an overclocking story to tell of /any/ kind?
Send it to me and I will post it to my "Overclocker's Web Page".

The latest 060 library is version 46.7. Although Phase5 is no longer, you
can obtain them now from DCE's website. The versions now have date codes
for the filesnames going as day-month-year so look for the latest one.

mNews crashes for me also. NewsRog is much more stable and configurable.
The authors are going to make the sale of it available one more time.
Watch their web site for news of this. Even though they will not continue
development for it anymore, it's still the best one around and will be for
some time before the others can catch up.

IBrowse is, well, IBrowse. Works for some, not for others. I still have
version 1.2 and is stable for me (will only update when the less buggy
2.2 is released). In which case try one of the other browsers and find the
one that works best for you.
