and an old quote:
'Jean-Louis Gassee, former head of development at Apple (1996 in Amazing
Computing interview):
"When the Amiga came out, everyone was scared as hell. No one could figure
out how they packed so much power into its off-the-shelf parts. We [at
Apple] were really scared of the Amiga. Fortunately, Irving Gould [CEO of
Commodore] helped Apple by running Commodore into the ground."'

technology can swing very quickly indeed but that cuts both ways.
My iPhone owning friends seem to be dissatisfied and ditching them in droves
in favour of the Samsung Galaxy range and that is perhaps a sign of things
to come.
