Well I've just recently out of financially need sold a 386/33Mhz power
house system with Windows 3.0 and the whole bit. Why do I mention
this well I have worked with a number of different systems in my young
days and out of desperate need to communicate to the world I
confiscated an A1000 from someone that wasn't using it. I had owned
one many years back but I have to tell you between MS/Windows, OS
(who)/2, Multifinder (Pre System 7), Deskqview (Which I do like alot),
I have not been more pleased with the Multitasking ability (stability)
of a machine and operating system. I'm running off of a stock A1000
with 3 disk drives and I can't get over the performance. From my
point of view even Windows on a 386/33Mhz did not perform as well and
as reliably. Mind you I am biased (MessyDOS forever). So I'm telling
you I'm pleased with what I see. I have been missing something all
these years. I guess my only question now is not which operating
system (Unix,MessyDOS,Finder, etc) but which Amiga!!! Now I don't want
to get flamed by all other communities I just wanted to put my 2 cents
in and say the Amigas are a machine (system) to be considered
seriously.

Ciao...
