Cannot login on TTY AIX 5L P660

Hi All !
I have a P660 with no LFT but TTY as syscons.
I've installed 5.1 from CD. After the install config assist doesn't
start as described in the doc. I've a console login prompt.
I try root and press enter.
I am not requested a pwd, and the console login prompt come again!
grrr!
Does anyone can help me ?

Boot into maintenance mode...
access rootvg.
smitty tyy
change the characteristics of the tty
add clocal to the end of both lines that contain the STTY.
That should do it.
