I've started work on a strange new programmnig language. it uses some
"advanced" features, so I'm sticking to easy, familiar territory and doing
it in BBC-Basic under RiscOS, although I may port it later when i get the
hard stuff sorted out. It is really an experiment, but I'll put it on a
website if it gets anywhere - I'm not saying it will! It will be a strange
mix of high and low level, albeit interpreted - I'm not gonna do a compiler!
Perhaps it will find its niche in upgrading high level programmers to
assembly language - it is in many ways assembly language without the speed
or complexities or tediousness. If interested in using or following it, or
just want to know more - or want to help write demo programs or port it to
Win etc - if it ever makes it (hmmmm....) reply.

What's the point of assembly without the speed? Do you think we use weird
little three letter words hex values and pull hair out for a weekend to debug
for the fun of it?
