Hi,

My A3010 has the follow problems:
no memory.
some (i say SOME) of the processor contacts are brok

Now is memory from a A3000 compatable with an A3010? Also will having 5% at
most of processor contacts broken make a signficant difference in operating
performance (if operate at all?)
I'd like to have my A3010 working, seeing for a start, it looks so much
better than a mouldy old A3000 which was used in classrooms for about 6
years!

Hi,

Matt

PS Anyone have an old cheap, external ethernet card, they would be willing
to sell at some point in the future?

If you mean there's no memory board under the keyboard then it should still
boot. The A3010 has 1MB of memory on the motherboard AFAIK.

Contact Reflex Electronics - last time I checked, they did repairs on Acorn
machines.
Their site is located at http://www.reflexelectronics.co.uk/.

Have you got one complete with the sticker on the top? Mine came from a
school, it was going to get chucked out and I took it off their hands. Along
with an AKF17, two mice and an A3000.
