Ok, hands up all those who spotted the A540 in Tomorrow's World tonight. For
those of you who missed it, or simply don't receive BBC1, there was an A540
plugged into a camera (via a genlock by the look of it) pointed to a rather
vicious shrimp (not only in nature, but in colour too :-). Apparently this
shrimp has rather good eye sight, in fact possibly the best yet found in the
animal kingdom. They were using the A540 to record the orientation of the
Shrimp's eyes (it can move them independantly). I don't think it was automated,
the operator entered a curve over the top of the image of the shrimp.
Just thought I'd share it with you.
I'm off to give the Acorn peeps a good grilling over this IOC20 thingum
tomorrow at the Live '93 show. I'll post my finding's some time on Sunday, if I
get a chance.....
