As I'm sure you are aware, the first batch of RISC OS sources have been
released at the RISC OS Open site: www.riscosopen.org We are working on the
documentation side of things at the moment so keep an eye on our wiki for
information (which is evolving all the time).
I'd like to say a personal thanks to the other guys on the team at RISC OS
Open and to Castle Technology for all their hard work in getting us this far.
Hopefully, everyone else in the community is now able to start to benefit
from this.

This is very good to hear. I am hoping that the ROOL fora will prove to
be useful for the kind of questions and answers which non-interactive
documentation cannot provide.

My thanks too.
A little query: I remember a Draw file (from the Clan?) illustrating
the steps taken during boot-up in a RiscPC. Does anybody still have a copy?
It is general information of this kind that I think could help many
more people get their teeth into doing something with RISC OS.

Is that "fora" as in "fora and flauna"? ;-)

I do have a copy of that Draw file. I think it came from the Clan CD
so I am not sure of its status (public domain?). It refers to the 4.02
boot process.

It is on Foundation CDs in RISCOSLtd.Foundation.Private.Promo as a
Drawfile and PDF.

Computing with RISC OS.
Further to that, our wiki now has a selection of documentation including
specifications for some of the components for which sources have already
been released. We'll be adding more as we go along.
