HI Guys,

Does anyone know how to read wheel movement in BBC BASIC (or SWI)?

I did a little bit of googling but could only find reference to the
WIMP environment.

What I am after is the ability to scroll through the different pages
of tracks (and ctrl+scroll for large jumps).

Cheers in advance.

One would assume (oh how I make myself laugh sometimes) that they've
the same interface that I defined for Select.

http://select.riscos.com/prm/input/pointerdevices.html#L0013

SYS "OS_Pointer", 2 TO xposition, yposition

Cheers Justin!

I will put this into a library to switch between Select / RO 5
versions.

I have just tested this on my beagleboard XM (RO 5.19) and recieved a
'Parameters not recognised' message (he says, double checking he typed
it correctly)

I need to go to the office to get my Adjust RPC, so will try this on
Tuesday ;@)

Michael.

Just to make it clear, I still do not have a solution for RISC OS
5 :@)

One could say that this is a side effect of the fragmentation of RISC
OS. As for RO5, if there is a way, it isn't easy to find on the ROOL
website...

Best wishes,

Rick.
