In addition, 23.4 percent of these adults with SMI were concerned about being committed to a psychiatric hospital or having to take medication.

Also among young adults aged 18 to 25 in 2019, 31.1 percent (or 10.4 million people) perceived that they ever had a problem with their mental health (Table A.6B and 2019 DT 6.32), which was higher than the percentage in 2018 (26.4 percent).
