Are your B/b's the same there? Small 'b's means bits, large 'B's mean bytes.

For a start wireless networking never actually achives anything near to its
stated speeds, even under perfect conditions. 802.11b is rated at 11Mb/s but
pratically only acheives around 5.5Mb/s (680KB/s). 802.11g is rated at 54Mb/s
but only gives around 22Mb/s (2.75MB/s).
But when accessing the internet, whatever type or wired or wireless network
you have, it wont exceed the DSL connection speed, which is likely to be
512Kb/s (64KB/s) or 1Mb/s (128KB/s). If you are getting 90KB/s, you probably
have 1Mb/s DSL.
