With the Queen recently paying tribute to the Bletchley Park veterans
I thought it might be a good time to remind RISC OS users of the
superb Enigma simulator written by Paul Reuvers. I have to admit I
haven't looked at it recently but I do remember the immense amount of
work that went into creating the simulator graphics and animation. The
program even features realistic sound effects as you turn the dials or
hit the keys. The simulator takes quite a while to master and is
therefore quite challenging trying to encode/decode messages with it -
I think programmers will be in their element however.

The program is compatible with RPC and the Iyonix but I don't know
whether it works on the BB and a9home.

The program, manual and examples can be downloaded from............
