RISC OS gets quite a good write-up here, alongside Android, Raspbian, etc.:

http://www.techradar.com/news/software/operating-systems/raspberry-pi-operating-systems-5-reviewed-and-rated-1147941

Shame about the misunderstandings about RISC OS Select. If someone
fancies entering a comment on the page to point out that Select won't run on
the Raspberry Pi anyway, that might be useful!

Bit superficial, and I would not have said that RISC OS made a very good
media viewer, but perhaps I have not hunted out the right software....

Keith Dunlop has already made a comment on the article about that.

I viewed the article using NetSurf, and it wasn't obvious that when it said
"No comments" at the end of the article that this was because of the browser
I was using. I've since re-read it using Chrome.

I'm glad you managed to read it with NS (which version?) The latest
CI build, and a couple prior to it, just display "Fetching, Fetching,
Processing" for ever. But I was able to read it on my mobile phone,
via wi-fi, which presumably rules out a problem between the site and
my house.

I have reported the bug.

Using NetSurf, the page loads if JavaScript is disabled.

I should have added that the comments are not displayed (because they
need JS).

For audio files it's great, (and also images), but for video it's not
so good. Low definition stuff is OK, but HD (which the Pi can do well)
is (at present) a non-starter.

The entire page loads very quickly with both Netsurf 2.9 and Fresco.

It works (without comments) in NetSurf (on the development versions of
3.1) if javascript is turned off . icon bar menu > Choices.. > Content >
Disable Javascript.
