-Parralel Port Joystick Adaptor

...among others.
Some of the above are a result of my own musings, some are my take on
projects published by others in the past.
The 'others' being direct reporductions (or links to) projects I've
found very useful - not listed here as I don't want to be accused of
passing off other's work as my own.
The How To's are in varying states of completness / testing.
I'm posting in case any others are interested but also because the
above list has pretty-well exhausted the supply of potential projects
I know about.
Please send me more! (if they exist).
I'll make them & add the results to the ReadMe's.
Thank You! :-)
Ok, I could be a better typist!
Sounds very interesting.
Where could I read all this ?
I recently discovered the V6Z80P project and thought it would be great
to interface it with the old pre RPC machines.
If there is a way to talk to this board with the parallel port of our
machines
connected to the serial port of the V6Z80P, I think it could be an
interesting project.
Some codes on each machine could make this board interesting to
provide :
- joystick ports
- 4 channels sound playing, saving 15% processing power on the ARM
side
- MMC/SD card reader
The best would be to modify it and make it a podule.
If there was a way to bufferize the pre RPC machines video output to
add
the V6Z80P output (remember the 3DFX on PC ?) it could be really
great.
See the demos of the board's graphical features and you'll understand.
The project is open and full 'source' of the FPGA programming is
available.
Interested ?
