SDLQuake error with BB-xM

Hi everyone,
This seems to run well at a what seems to be a respectable speed on a
Raspberry Pi, but attempts to run it on a Beagleboard xM produce an error
'Filecore in use'.
I did manage to run it on one occasion but cannot for the life of me figure
out how I did it, and all subsequent attempts have failed.
Has anyone else experienced this or know of any workaround?
