Hi all, Have just dug out this game from 'storage' and was wondering
if anybody had the solution, it was one of the games I never managed
to complete, along with The Dungeon.

Any help would be most welcome.

David.

I have a complete solution for Pandora's Box in an old Archimedes
World magazine in the loft somewhere, which could be of use, enabled
me to finish the game, but I have a feeling there was a slight error
in it but I could be wrong.

I could scan it for you and email/post it if you want, as for Dungeon,
sorry never finished it , too hard, too much going round in circles,
good game though.

cheers

I never managed to complete !Elite, !DarkWook or !Ixion, too... and I
won't buy any new computer before I have finished them!

A feeble excuse to not buy a new computer, seeing as there isn't a
goal in Elite to complete!

I'm really sorry about this but after going through what seemed like
hundred of issues of Archimedes World I couldn't find any complete
solutions to Pandora's Box, I did find some for other games, but not
that, maybe I imagined it was in Arc. World and perhaps was in another
Acorn magazine ? , but I am 100% sure that one of the Acorn magazines
had a 2 page colour solution to Pandora's Box because I used it to
help me complete the game.

Can anyone provide a bit more info ? which exact magazine it was in, I
still think it was Arc World and if anyone knows the issue number that
would be even better !

It definitely existed but where and when is another matter.

Apologies for getting your hopes up with this and then not being able
to find it.

I remember there being a walkthrough for Pandora's Box. If it wasn't in
Arc World it would have been in Acorn Computing (or perhaps even Micro
User) because I didn't subscribe to Acorn User until it merged with AC.

I have the solutions to The Dungeon, and Pandora's Box (Archimedes World
Jan 1993 BTW) on my desk now, in printed versions.

They add up to rather a lot of pages, including many maps.
Yes I did complete them both, many long moons ago.
Both excellent games.

I'm a bit busy ATM, so give me a few days to sort things out and scan
the pages. Then anybody wanting a copy is welcome to them.

Dankeschön. Merci beaucoup. I have no idea what they're talking about...

OK, all five pages of Pandora's Box solution (Archimedes World) now
scanned as JPEGs and bundled up in a ZIP. Total file size 2.2 MB.

I also have a set of maps, but I have a note that there were better maps
in AW Oct 1993, page 34. I seem to have filed all my documents somewhere
'safe', so cannot find originals :-/
If anyone has still got that issue of AW it might be nice to have those
maps.

I don't have a web site, so reply to this by email if you want a copy of
the solution.
In any event, the original article was/is copyright, so I have no intent
to distribute it widely e.g. via web sites

That's an idea... I'm stuck with the castle. How to get access to it?
What to do with the two guards? And what to do in the tower with the
wizzard's soup / the wizzard nearby?

I'm running around and don't know what to do. I've got already the
miner's challenge on the island!

This might take some time as I have only two saved games. Anybody know
if there was a solution published?
