Hi,

Does anyone have Lotus Turbo Challange and Populous working on VRPC which
DON'T require a floppy drive?

I'm also trying to find Ballerena, Caverns, Killer Bugs and Zelanites in
disc image format (particularly Zelanites)

Many thanks.

I have an original copy of Ballarena, which anyone who's able to produce
a disk image of it is welcome to. It won't run on anything but Arthur
(trust me - I tried on Harriet's A5000 and the resulting mess took most
of the afternoon to sort out!).

Eterna games were awkward to run due to their disc copy protection,
but they should work on RISC OS 2 machines no problem.

From memory Eterna games didn't run well on the A5000 due to a change
in the disc controller ? , Kerbang is an example of this, it wouldn't
run on my A5000 but was fine on a A4401/ Archimedes both with RISC OS
3.1.

Fine Racer from Eterna was RISC OS 2 only and I strongly suspect
Ballarena would be too.

cheers
Matthew

Ahh! The evils of copy protection.

The A310emu emulator can run both Arthur and RISC OS 2 so that shouldn't be
a problem. Just making the disc image in the first place :-(

This German company Uffenkamp http://www.ucs.de/ucs/Spiele.html have
Ballarena listed as available to buy, along with all other Eterna
titles, I'm not sure if this company still ship abroad or whether they
are still trading.

But it would be worth emailing them, this is where I bought my copy of
Ballarena and many other Eterna titles from.

Cheers
