Maybe. Andrew says that "the big enhancements in this release [of Fireworkz
Pro] related to the graphs/charting features, and significantly improved
draw file export.
"As usual there were improvements to Excel import (and CSV import this time
round), as well as refinements to the menus/user interface in line with
customer feedback."
Meanwhile, the freeware Fireworkz release notes state that:
* Improved Drawfile generation.
* Fixed charts with pictures / markers.
* Better interpretation of Excel format strings such that dates now load as
dates rather than as the underlying Excel numeric serial number.
* Handle Excel workbooks (BIFF5 and onwards) that contain objects other than
worksheets, also workbooks that contain an empty first worksheet.
* Significant speedup of loading multi-worksheet Excel files.
* Handle Excel BOOLERR records.
* Fixed huge memory leak on CSV import.
* Fixed decoding of Ctrl and/or Shift Fn keys in menus.
* Shift-F3 now invokes Save Other dialogue box.
* Moved Ruler menus to View menu.
* Added New view and Close commands to View menu.
* Added Fill Down / Fill Right commands to the Edit menu.
* Added Left / Centre / Right / Full justify commands to the
Style -> Effects submenu.
I dunno. I can't see any similarities there at all... ;-)
