Logged on to Ebay tonight, in response to a reminder to provide feedback
on a recent purchase. I was using NetSurf 2.1 on my RiscPC running RISC
OS 4.39.
Was very surprised to see a little statement somewhere on the left of a
screen - which I can no longer find - saying something like: "Your
browser does not have JavaScript. Click here for the alternative
version". Not the actual wording, but the general meaning. I considered
this was very thoughtful of them, but couldn't find the 'Feedback' page
and logged off.
Later I had another go, and every page seemed to say "You must enable
JavaScript to use this site" or words to that effect. I was able to
leave a Feedback message in the end, although nowhere could I find the
earlier statement.
Has anyone else seen it?
