Acorn Doom now Available!

R-Comp Interactive's official version of id Software's classic
arcade game Doom is now available for RiscPC owners.

The game is shipped on 3 CD Roms, and includes Ultimate Doom,
Doom 2, Doom 2 Master Levels, and 3000 extra Doom levels, as
well as a full manual, and Acorn Doom Player software.

Acorn supports resolutions of up to 1024x768 on current
machines in 8bpp definable palettes. (1280x1024 possible on
RiscPC 2!). The 24bpp version can be run at resolutions
up to 480x352 on current hardware, again with higher options
for the future.

Please note that the game uses MIDI for music, so if you wish
to hear the background tracks, you will need some kind of
MIDI gear in your system. Please contact us for more details.

NB, this allows us to maintain compatibility with PC Doom
add-ons and extra levels.

The game will work on all RiscPC computers, and will take
advantage of StrongArm processors where available.

The game costs 35ukp inc VAT and EU delivery.

Credit card, cheque or official orders are accepted, but not
Switch.

Acorn users OUTSIDE Europe should note that RCI itself cannot
supply Doom Trilogy packs at the time, although we hope to
have this sorted by the end of next week.
