Speak text-to-speech Open Source release for RISC OS

I have rewritten the Speak text-to-speech module and released it as an
open source project. A RISC OS version is now available as a free
download from:
http://espeak.sourceforge.net/

Download the "riscos.zip" package, which contains both a compiled,
ready-to-run, version of module and the source code. Also download the
"source.zip" package which contains the speech data files which the
module needs.

The new Speak module has improved sound quality which sounds better
with good speakers or through a domestic stereo system (the internal
speaker on my RiscPC doesn't sound very good :-) A selection of
different voices are included.

The Speak module can now speak text files by itself. It can also be
used as a replacement for earlier versions of the module, for example
for use with my Pluto mail/news reader. A full-featured trial version
of Pluto is available from: http://home.clara.net/jsd/pluto.html
You can, for example, set it up to speak different levels of quoted
text in news messages with different voices, which can be entertaining.
