We are pleased to announce the release of an updated OS ROM for the
Pinebook Pro. It is available to all our customers via our users'
download site.

The new ROM contains a variety of improvements stemming from several
months of additional RK3399 development, but the standout features are the
enabling of sound in the laptop (including automatic headphone detection)
and the enabling of the PCI-Express expansion facility under RISC OS.

At present, the usefulness of the PCI-E support is limited - you can see
connected devices via the standard RISC OS PCI *commands, and write code
to utilise the PCI-E bus. However, the most useful driver (NVME storage)
is still to come...

The new ROM is available on the download site now

Note - new ROMs will likely be released for other RK3399 family members
too, including RockPi4 B+/C+ (RockyRAID), RockPro and the new OrangePi 800
keyboard-computer.

Best wishes,

Andrew
