The next meeting of the RISC OS North West User Group (RONWUG) will be:

The A9home RISC OS computer
demonstrated by Stuart Tyrrell

The A9home computer was formally unveiled at the Wakefield Show, and some
early systems are already in the hands of developers. Boasting an ARM9
CPU at 400MHz, the A9home runs a version of RISC OS Adjust natively, and
offers a range of functionality in an ultra small case.

When it is released, the A9home will be the first new RISC OS computer for
several years, so is an event of major importance in the RISC OS market,
especially for those looking for a low cost and highly portable RISC OS
solution. Don't miss out on this chance to see what's been done so far,
try it out, and ask questions of the people behind the project. If you're
a developer, you may also be able to order a developer machine at the

A few RONWUG members should be at the venue from shortly after 7pm, and
possibly until as late as 10pm (but you can arrive and leave whenever you
like). Light refreshments will be available, and fast food shops and an
off license are nearby. As is usual with RONWUG meetings, admittance is
free, and everyone is welcome.

The venue is just a few hundred yards from M60 J7, with plentiful free
parking right outside, and easy ground floor access. It is on the bus
route from Manchester city centre, and is also about fifteen to twenty
minutes walk from Dane Road Metro station. A map can be found by
