Prophet version 4.13 now available

Prophet, the all-in-one business accounts package for RISC OS, has been
updated to version 4.13 and is available now from Elesar.

If you have version 3.93 or later (from Elesar) simply re-run the installer
program which will download the update free of charge.

Changes at a glance
-------------------
Being a 'point' release from the earlier 4.12, the focus has been on fixing a
few bugs. Specifically relating to the invoice template editor, a discrepancy
in Letter paper sizes, simplified unsaved status, the reconcile lock, and
clearer display of VAT refunds when due.

The accompanying 266 page manual has also been revised following user
feedback.

Making Tax Digital
------------------
Prophet is the only RISC OS application that has passed HMRC's tests to be
able to submit a UK VAT return using their MTD system. Prophet can either be
used to bridge the gap from your existing spreadsheet/manual calculation or
do all the accounting itself.

If you're VAT registered in the UK then from April 2022 you must use the MTD
as manual submission on paper or via the government gateway is no longer
possible

In version 4.13 the security module, AcornSSL, has been updated to the latest
version from July from RISC OS Open.
