JDServer is a print server using the Jet Direct protocol originated
by Hewlett Packard and widely supported by operating systems.
JDServer permits a printer, connected to a RISC OS computer, to be
shared by all computers on a network. JDServer should work on all
versions of RISC OS from 3.1 upwards, although it is only tested
on an Iyonix.
JDServer is free and released under the GPL version 2. I do ask
that users let me know how they get on with it. It's precisely
because someone /did/ do this, that the new "No icon" facility
was added!
Enjoy.
