WAKEFIELD ACORN SPRING SHOW - MAY 19th 1996
In Association with Acorn User Magazine

at CEDAR COURT HOTEL, Jct.39 M1, WAKEFIELD.

The Wakefield Acorn Computer User Group is association with Acorn User
Magazine are holding the Wakefield Acorn Spring Show on Sunday May 19th
1996.

The event is further being supported by Chris Cox, of ART.

The event is taking place at the CEDAR COURT HOTEL, Jct. 39 M1, Denby
Dale Road, Wakefield. This is just outside Wakefield and only 6 miles
south of the M62, and is therefore in a very good location for visitors to
the event.

The event will be open to public from 10 am till 5pm, Advance ticket holders
can enter from 9.30 am.

The venue the Cedar Court Hotel is a very comfortable 4 star hotel and
for people from afar we have arranged reduced terms for rooms.

The show is on two floors of the hotel, with exhibitors on both floors plus
we have a Show Theatre (sponsored by Acorn User), and CyberZone (sponsored
by VTi/Argonet) on the second floor in addition to the exhibitors.

The event is being Advertised in Acorn User, Acorn Publisher, Archive
with Editiorial mentions in the other Acorn magazines.

In addition the Wakefield Acorn Computer User Group will have it own stand,

There will be a CHARITY STALL (supported by the Norwich Computer Services
and the Wakefield Acorn User Group), so bring your anything you wish to donate along or contact Norwich Computer Services.

Come and see the STRONGARM, STORK & NEWSPAD Portables on the ART stand.

It is intended to have 2 Prize draws during the day, (lunch time and
before close), in addition to this with will be handing out a form to be
filled in by visitors as they enter or before they leave, asking for
details about them and their interests, these forms will be entered into
a draw, to which a prize bundle will be awarded.

There will be a Show Guide with information on all exhibitors, with floor plans and Show theatre details.

Advance tickets are available.

2 pounds Adults. 1 pound Juniors upto 16 accompanied by an Adult.

On the day the tickets cost:

2.50 Adults. 1.50 Juniors.


This is the NEW Northern Acorn Show, so why not come and see it.

About the User Group:

The Wakefield Acorn Computer User Group been established since 1983 and
have a reputation as a serious Acorn User Group, we have members both
locally and nationally, we provide help and support to our members, by
means of of our newsletter and meetings, we have information about the
Group on two bulletin boards and expect to open our own Web site in the
near future.
