Having released the demo last spring, and promising a full release at
Christmas, here at last is the all singing all dancing Cavern Duel game.

The full version can be downloaded from my tapestry webpage at;

http://www.fortunecity.com/lavendar/clint/40

Go to the Games page (or add bits.html to the above address) and you
will find the link to download the 159k zip file.

The zip file contains;

!CavenDuel 1.22 - the game itself, which now allows you to load in other
predefined mapfiles, and has a (hopefully) working time loop for
StrongARM users.

!CavernEd 1.37 - a multi-tasking screen editor, allowing you the
opportunity to design your own screens.

Also present are some predesigned mapfiles, a drawfile explaining what
objects are used in the game, and full instructions on how to play the
game and use the editor.

This release stands as the final one, as we cannot commit ourselves to
the project anymore, due to work pressures. We may still support it, and
if really necessary, release minor upgrades. But what you see is what
you get. Some suggestions sent in by users in response to the demo, have
not been included, so we apologise for this.

We hope you enjoy playing the game, and designing levels. We have tested
it as much as we can, and as it stands, it is pretty safe to run.

The zip will initially be available only from tapestry, but will
eventually be uploaded onto Demon and Stuttgart ftp servers.

We hope you have a happy Christmas, and a prosperous New Year. Dont stay
up too late ;-)
