The next Bristol RISC OS Users meeting will take place on Wednesday, 9th
November, and will be an opportunity to check out the latest ARM-based
laptop on which RISC OS can be run - the Pinebook Pro.

Chris Hall has one of the laptops, a design originally from PINE64 but
bought via R-Comp for the RISC OS port, and will bring it along to the
meeting so that the group can try it out and see what it's like.

He also intends to bring along (but not demonstrate) a compute module '4
Lite', with an IO board, an NVMe drive (with Linux installed) and an SD
card (for RISC OS) - and possibly even a home made case if he is able to
make one in time.

The meeting will take place from around 7:30ish at The Open Arms pub,
near the bottom of St Michaels Hill, BS2 8DX - previously called The
Colston Arms, and temporarily known as Pubby McDrunkface, so visitors
should keep an eye out for signage that could say any of those.

The Bristol meetings are generally informal in nature; just a group of
fellow RISC OS users getting together for a pint and a chat. As such,
anyone is welcome to join us.

There is also a mailing list for the group, the sign-up page for which
can be found at:
