It might be helpful to list what comprises a "complete set"
of 3B1 manuals by title. :-)
Especially whether it includes the _Technical Reference Manual_ .
And the secondary set which came with the development set solved
a lot of puzzles left by the Foundation set -- including how to use the
editor "ed" which the GUI would toss you into when you clicked on a file
if you hadn't installed a fancier editor (including vi(1), which you
only got with the Development Set.
Exactly how they expected a businessman to deal with ed(1) --
practically no prompt and no feedback to your commands unless you knew
the magic few commands to get status information from it, such as where
you were in the file. :-)
Of course -- they expected Mr. Businessman to buy a word
processor which would get installed as his default editor. Only a unix
geek would run without a wordprocessor. :-)
Enjoy,
DoN.

I have a bid on the manuals. There are 23 manuals, weighing 70 pounds.
I can go back a list them all if you are really interested in bidding.
I also have a six binder set of Microport 286 SysV/AT Manuals if anyone
is interested in them.
